In 2005, he founded his own military magazine called ''Assaut,'' for which he served as publisher, editor and journalist. As a war correspondent, he covered wars in Afghanistan, both Iraq wars, Lebanon, the Balkans, Libya and Syria. His photographic contributions to the world of research and military history was virtually unparalleled during his career. In particular, as regards researching the subject of international military forces and their combat uniforms, the entire community of collectors and researchers is deeply indebted to his body of work. &lt;br /&gt;
